I used it with a pretty Valentine’s Day table runner also found on Amazon. The tablecloth did not absorb any stains which I treated with your basic spray before washing. My only recommendation is that you wash it on gentle because there was a little bit of fray on the seam but I think that was related to my washing machine agitator and no fault of the manufacturer. I like cotton tablecloths, and liked the look of this one, so I ordered it. While waiting for it to arrive, I saw a documentary on the movie Home Alone which said something viewers never pick up on is the reason the house looks so cheerful and friendly is because it is decorated, throughout, in colors of the Christmas season. I re-watched the movie, and sure enough the whole house is done in tones of green, red, beige, brown, gray, and white - just not the exact shades we associate with Christmas. When this tablecloth arrived, it looked exactly as I had hoped, and mindful of the lesson I had just learned from the movie, I put a wooden bowl full of apples on the table and a few other accessories that were in those Christmas-associated shades, and the whole room just seemed to transform into a cheerful, welcoming place without anything about it actually saying 'Christmas'. What a great decorating trick! The green is definitely in that lime green/Granny Smith apple green range and a very pleasing color. The cotton is a nice, heavier weight. I like natural fabric, which does mean some wrinkles, but taking it out of the drier slightly damp and then draping it over the shower rod or some other object to finish drying smooths it out enough that unless you want perfect flatness there is no need to iron. El mantel tiene buena calidad. Buena relación costo-beneficio. Le puse 4 estrellas porque la bastilla de uno de los lados esta cosida al revés.
